Thetford S260CS Separation Toilet

The Thetford Separation Toilet S260CS is a complete waterless toilet system designed for motorhomes, campervans and caravans. It separates urine and solid waste at source, eliminating the need for flush water and chemical treatments. Built to the same dimensions as Thetford’s popular C260 cassette toilets, this system features an ergonomically optimised bowl, electronic urine tank level indication, and a waste-covering blade for added privacy. With a 7 litre solid waste bucket and 7.5 litre urine tank, it’s built for extended off-grid use.
A separation toilet uses a specially designed bowl to direct urine towards the front and solid waste towards the rear, keeping them completely separate. The S260CS features a 467mm seat height, recycled plastic construction for both tank and bucket, and a leak-free connection system for the urine tank. Electronic level indication alerts you when the 7.5L urine tank needs emptying, whilst the 7L solid waste bucket has a covering blade to keep contents out of sight.
The CS model includes a cistern back plate for surface mounting to the wall, housing both the control panel and flush button in one integrated unit. Installation requires a 4-pole electrical connection and accepts an optional Door 3 access panel. At 8kg and measuring 740 x 417 x 603mm, this first-to-market 2025 model offers a practical solution for those wanting to reduce water consumption and gain independence from traditional disposal points. The optional ventilation kit provides active odour extraction for enhanced comfort.
