Thetford S260S Separation Toilet

The Thetford Separation Toilet S260S is a complete waterless toilet designed for caravans and motorhomes that separates urine and solid waste at source. This recessed wall-mounted system eliminates the need for flush water and chemical additives, making it ideal for off-grid touring and wild camping. With a 7-litre solid waste bucket and 7.5-litre urine tank made from recycled plastic, it provides a practical alternative to traditional cassette toilets while offering greater freedom from fixed disposal points.
The S260S separates liquid and solid waste without water or chemicals, storing them in individual containers. The 467mm seat height and ergonomically optimised bowl suits adults and children, while the side-operated blade keeps solids out of sight. Electronic level indication alerts you when the 7.5-litre urine tank needs emptying, which happens less frequently than cassette toilet servicing because liquids and solids are separated from the start.
Installation fits the same footprint as Thetford’s C260 cassette toilet, making it straightforward to mount in existing spaces or new builds. The leak-free connection prevents spills when removing the urine tank, and the 4-pole electrical plug powers the electronic level indicator and optional ventilation. Weighing 7.1kg and measuring 488 x 340 x 603mm, it works with optional Door 3 access and Thetford ventilation kit for active odour management.
