The Vega 2 high is a luxury modern porch air awning which is made to fit higher vehicles like motor homes plus any vehicle between 260 and 285 cm high.. It features the luxury HydroTech Cotton Touch fabric plus the advanced air system to create a luxurious, easy to use air awning. Perfect for touring at any time of the year, this is an any season porch awning that will last for years and years.

HyroTech Cotton Touch Fabric
This is an all weather, premium fabric that will last for years. The high performance coating on the fabric gives it an extremely high weatherproof rating and helps protect it and you from the harmful U.V. rays. The fabric also has that luxury cotton touch on the outer, making it feel as good as it looks. At it’s core this is a 300D premium polyester fabric with an extremely high tensile strength, so high that it does not need to be rip stop. The fabric is made to highest standard available which gives it the highest possible tensile strength making it extremely touch and durable. The thread is dyed before the fabric is sewn into sheets making it is the same colour throughout, so it will not fade. The fabric is also anti-condensation, which means when condensation builds up inside your awning the fabric allows that moisture to soak into the fabric, rather than beading and then dripping down. The moisture in the fabric then dries out naturally during the day.
This fabric is extremely durable and hard wearing, so will last for years and years. The fabric is so strong and durable, combined with the advanced coating means that it can be used on all season awnings without any degrading of the fabric or drop in performance or lifespan.

Any Season Awning
This is a touring awning, but thanks to the premium fabric, build quality and structure it is an any season awning. This means it can be used at any time of the year. The fabric on this awning is a premium fabric which can withstand the sun, heat, cold, rain, snow or whatever weather is thrown at it. It can be used in the heat of the south of France, the cold of northern Denmark, the wind of the Cairngorms or the rain of Snowdonia and it will perform as well in all places.

Advanced Air System
The advanced air system is an interconnected air beam system, giving you single inflation, ease of use and self maintenance if ever required. It is based on three layers of protection along with tried and tested one way valves and auto-close interconnections. It is simplicity itself to use as it has standard pump fittings, so no fiddly, difficult to use connections. You simply push the pump into the valve and blow it up. Deflation is just as easy, you simply unscrew the valve and the system deflates.
The three layers of protection are : Layer One – The bladder itself. Extra strong PVC bladder which is inflated to 8 PSI, but tested to 20 PSI to allow for pressure fluctuations during weather changes. : Layer Two – The protection layer. This is actually a dual layer of PU material and PE material bonded together to create a protective cover for the bladder. It also ensures the bladder is in the correct size and shape at all times. : Layer Three – The sleeve is the layer which is sewn in to the awning and holds the beam in place in the awning. These three layers ensure the bladder is protected at all times , in the correct position an shape to help ensure your awning performs perfectly all the time.
These beams are connected together with the minimal interconnections. They are minimal in size to make the awning easier to pack away as they are unobtrusive. The minimal size also helps the aesthetics of the awning as you virtually don;t see them at all. The connections are also easy to use. They allow you to unscrew the interconnected beams and once unscrewed they lock off on the main beam allowing you to remove any beam without having to deflate the entire awning.
Maintenance is also easy. There should never be an issue with your system, but if there was you can easily get to any of the bladders and repair them yourself with a puncture repair kit. The sleeves and protective layers have zips in to allow you access to the bladder and the valves simple unscrew to allow you to replace them if the need ever arises.

Panoramic Views / Tinted Windows / Pano-Doors
This awning has panoramic views thanks to the maximised use of windows and our tinted windows and pano-doors. Firstly we put oversized windows in the awning to give you the very best views and allow the maximum of light into the awning. Next the windows are tinted. The tint is a premium one-way tint so when viewed from the outside you can see the tint, but when inside the awning they look like normal windows and do not obscure the view at all. The tint on the outside helps stop the sun’s glare and helps keep the inside of the awning cooler on those hot days. We also have our unique pano-doors. These are our panoramic view doors. Whilst doors are extremely useful a normal door blocks your view when closed, but our don;t. We place full size windows on our pano-doors so you not only get a door you can close when the weather isn’t the best, but you also have the window to let even more light in and allows you to enjoy the view. All our windows have internal blinds, so they can be closed when you want that extra privacy. All these features build up to the very best panoramic views possible, so no matter where you are pitched you get all round views and the very maximum of light into your awning.

Zipped Blinds
Our windows have internal zipped blinds to give you that extra privacy when required. The fact they are zipped blinds means they are easier to use (what can be simpler than running a zip up and down), but also neater as when closed they form a flat tight wall, rather than drooping blinds or curtains. On top of all this as they are zipped blinds they can be set at any height, so you can allow as much or as little light in and as much or as little privacy as you want, if you want half window, half blind then just unzip them half way, if you want just a small light opening at the top of the window, then just zip them down a little it is completely up to you.

Annex Ready
This awning is annex ready, which means that it can be extended by the addition of one or more annexes (or pods). This allows you to use the awning for different uses, to extend the awning to give you extra storage, or an extra bedroom, or simply extra space to spread out in (depends upon the type of annex available).
This awning has two types of annex available. The Eris annex which was has a higher roof and windows all around it allowing it to be used as extra living space as well as storage or a bedroom. Or the universal annex with is panels all around for complete privacy, perfect for an extra bedroom or storage. You can have them on either side of the awning, so you could even have one of each type or even two of either extending your awning both sides.

Removable Panels
This awning features removable panels. This is a great feature as it not only gives you more options and flexibility it also means that you can remove the panels to lower the pitching weight of the awning. The pitching weight is the weight of the awning that you will have to slide into the awning rail on your vehicle. So by being able to lower this weight it makes it much easier to put into position. The fact the panels can be removed also means on those beautiful hot days you can remove the panel altogether to bring the outside in.

Canopy Mode
This awning has removable panels on all sides. This means you can completely remove all the panels and use the awning as a canopy only. The fact that it is an awning with the panels removed, rather than a canopy also means that the structure is far strong that a stand alone canopy, plus if the weather turns bad, you can always quickly zip the panels back in place to protect you from the weather.

Double Beading
This awning features double beading on the roof of the awning. This double beading means that it can be slide into either size channel (there are two standard channel sizes : 4 and 6mm) with the need for a drive away kit or beading convertor. This not only gives you peace of mind, but also a better connection to your vehicle as you are sliding the actual awning into the channel, rather than the drive away or convertor kit.

Double Rear Pads
This awning features double rear pads. This allows for a better seal to the side of your vehicle as you have more pad to squeeze against the side of your vehicle. The double rear pads can be used as standard single pads if that is all you require to form that tight seal against your vehicle, but if you find that due to uneven ground, or if you are using a wind out canopy to put your awning into your awning is further away from the side of your vehicle you can use the double pad to fill the gap at the back and still form a nice tight seal against the side of your vehicle.

Premium Ventilation
Ventilation in awnings is very important. Ventilation allows air flow inside your awning even when the panels are shut. This helps keep your awning cool and aired at all times. This awning has premium tight mesh ventilation which means the mesh is extremely fine so it stops the vast majority of bugs, but still allows maximum air flow. The mesh is also stronger and more durable than thinner cheaper mesh.

Adjustable Air Beams (top and bottom)
This awning features double adjustable air beams. The air beam can be extended at the bottom of the air tube allowing you to extend the beam to help cater for uneven ground, or if you have a higher vehicle. This allows you to get a better shape for the awning, helps avoid twists and bends in the beams and leads to better rain performance.
These air beams can also be extended at the top of the beam. This allows them to extend underneath a roll out canopy to fill the gap created when you attach this awning to a roll out canopy. The beam extends underneath the casing of the roll out canopy and sits against the side of your vehicle ensuring a tight and strong fit against your vehicle.
